On Sept. 12, the photographer Juergen Teller and I will meet for an open discussion about his work. Teller, as just about everyone knows, has had a big influence on contemporary photography—through his personal work, his fashion images and advertising campaigns for designers like Marc Jacobs and Vivienne Westwood. He’s also a wonderful, funny conversationalist.
So please join us on Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. The School of Visual Arts is the host for the talk, which will be held at the Visual Arts Theater at 333 W. 23rd Street. The public is welcome and there’s no charge. Teller also has a new exhibition going up, on Sept. 10, at the Lehmann Maupin Gallery.
