New Affordable Rome Lodging Options Emerge In The Age Of The Struggling Dollar
Most visitors who are visiting Rome opt to stay in the historical Center or close to the Vatican City. Cost-conscious tourists tend to seek options that area easier on the wallet,Gucci Outllet, especially with the Euro on a seemingly endless uptrend and many other world currencies struggling to keep up. There are dozens of neighborhoods in Rome to pick from, and our spotlight today is cast toward Northeast Rome, how to make money online, more commonly known as the African Quarter.
The African Quarter: The name immediately evokes images of the African Continent, the wild, gucci outlet italia, and anything but cosmopolitan Rome. In reality, the only parallel to Africa to be found in this Roman neighborhood is the fact that the names of the streets have been named after the areas in Africa which were conquered or occupied by Italy (Well, that and an inevitable few Senegalese vendors who can be seen around town selling fake Gucci, Fendi and Louis Vuitton bags scored directly from Naples).
Getting to the African quarter from other areas of Rome is fairly easy. It is well connected to the Historical Center of Rome and Vatican City by Rome public transportation, mainly by way of buses and one train. Unfortunately the Metropolitana, or Rome's subway, does not yet service this area.
Like any neighborhood, the African Quarter has its pros and cons. The biggest pro of this area is without a doubt Viale Libia; a main drag that is jam-packed with shops, boutiques and vendors with something to suit every budget. You name it,Coach Purses, shoes, clothes, books (even in English), jewelry, perfume, toiletries, food, leather goods, brand names, boutiques, louis vuitton outlet, and so much more are lined up and down the sidewalks of this thoroughfare. There are also several restaurants (some of them specializing in ethnic cuisine), excellent ice-cream parlors, bread and pastry shops, and supermarkets. As every rose has its thorn,Prada Outlet, the con here is that the sidewalks are always packed with various inconveniences such as teenagers that seem to be unaware of anyone besides themselves, elderly folks out on a stroll and walking as if they are standing still, mothers with baby-strollers (with or without screaming children in tow),louis vuitton purses on sale, groups of bohemian college students, and of course a sampling of alcoholic homeless folks who loiter around the dimly-lit piazzas.
On the whole, it is just as safe as any of Rome's neighborhoods. As a tourist, be prepared to stand out a bit and as goes for the rest of Rome, keep your money,Louis Vuitton Belts, documents, and valuables well hidden (that does not mean hang them in a money pouch around your neck outside your button up shirt, but rather remove all temptation by storing them in a hotel safe, in a money belt, or otherwise well hidden) . Regardless of where you find yourself in Rome and most European cities, you must always remain aware of your surroundings and stay in well-lit, populated areas. Rome is a safe city, but petty theft does continue to be a problem throughout the city.
Rome Historic Center is about a 20 minute bus ride from the African Quarter. Termini Station is only 10 minutes by train, and there is a new Metro Station in the works, which will bring added value to this neighborhood as soon as it is completed (With the speed at which Romans work, my vote says sometime before 2025).
The African Quarter has everything one would need during a stay in the Eternal City. Its hotel and holiday rental apartment prices are very competitive, which makes it an ideal area of Rome to be considered as an option while seeking lodging in Rome.
